“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
– John 16:33 (NKJV)
Take a quick look at your life and ask, “Am I experiencing God’s best?”
Go ahead. Do it now.
We should be experiencing victory in every part of our lives. God never makes anything second best so we shouldn’t accept a second best life.
When God created us He gave us dominion here on earth. And when Jesus was crucified He made us to be seated at the right hand of God. He didn’t give us that authority so we could just live happily ever after. Just because we have that authority doesn’t mean everything is going to take care of itself. He expects us to use it.
Victory starts in your mind. It starts in the way that you think. Every fruit produces after its own kind. Thinking thoughts of defeat will produce defeat and thoughts of victory will produce victory. It’s knowing that you already have the victory, because Christ has already won it for you. It says in John 16:33 that He has already overcome the world. That means He has overcome every circumstance and every attack of the devil. It is a done deal. He has already done everything He is going to do in your situation. You just have to claim it and walk in it. Don’t get me wrong there is a battle to be fought but we don’t fight for victory. We fight from victory!
“Thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our lord Jesus Christ”
– 1 Corinthians 15:57 (NKJV)
And your thanksgiving will produce your victory!
