everydayPROVIDER

“And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

-Philippians 4:19 (AMP)

What if I told you that you could have everything you need in life or that all your worries could be taken away? What if I told you that you could have a very close and personal relationship at all times? Now what if I told you that this is a person?

The name of this person is Jesus.

Jesus is our provider, supplier, and source for every arena of life. Quite the statement, huh? The Word says that He provides every need—not every other week, but every day, all the time. Not just financial, but he gives perfect health, peace, comfort, joy, help, strength, satisfaction, and so much more. There is not one need that God’s promises do not cover!

It’s hard to have hope in something that continually fails, but Jesus won’t fail. When you look around, you see people relying and depending on themselves, their jobs, and their relationships while Jesus is saying, “Let me be your source and supply.” We can put our confidence in Him knowing He is always faithful. (Psalm 145:13)

He already has our entire lives planned and prepared every step of the way. It is kind of like buying a house that already has been furnished with our favorite furniture, or buying an iPod with all of our favorite music on it. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Nothing surprises God. In fact He knows what we need even before we do (Matthew 6:8). In Jeremiah 29:11 in the message it says, “I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.” He has prepared paths for us that are greater than we could ever imagine.

You’re going to need some stuff for this path, right? Who would ask you to do something without giving you the proper supplies necessary? Not God! He has finances, relationships, jobs, homes and anything else that you would ever need for this journey. Wherever He takes you, know that He always has a prearranged purpose for your life, and has pre-orchestrated the supplies for you!

Now all it comes down to is receiving what Jesus freely gave us. When you know you can have something you take it, right? Well, I am telling you that faith knows. By faith—belief in what God has already said—we have all the promises in the Word and so much more! We never have to doubt or be anxious for tomorrow because we can know and trust in the fact that He has our best interest in mind.

Jesus is the source that will never run out and will always be there no matter what. His provision is for an abundant, eternal, victorious life. (John 10:10) When you fully rely on Him you can be sure that He will take care of everything.  Wherever He guides, He will provide.

Now here’s where rubber meets the road. Real faith does not doubt, but is resolute; either you believe what the Bible says, or you don’t. With that being said, what is it that you need? I dare you to look into the Word and discover all God has provided for you through Jesus. If you see it in the Word, you can have it.

everydayCONVERSATION:

“Lord, I will seek You and not my needs. I ask for forgiveness for worrying or ever doubting You. I will lean on, rely in, and trust in all that You are for me everyday. You will provide all of my of needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Thank You for being my source, and my supply. I am predestined for greatness. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
